El repte i l\u2019obstinaci\u00f3 en la Col\u00b7lecci\u00f3 MACBA\u00bb<\/strong> \u00e9s un projecte que aborda la contemporane\u00eftat des d&#8217;una perspectiva optimista, persistent i apassionada. Un concepte directe que, en lloc de situar les obres dins d&#8217;un \u00e0mbit tem\u00e0tic o cronol\u00f2gic determinat, s&#8217;erigeix com un tot espec\u00edfic; \u00e9s a dir, una manera particular d&#8217;entendre la pr\u00e0ctica art\u00edstica que reivindica la intensitat an\u00edmica del treball en art.<\/p>\n<p>En termes generals, l&#8217;<em>entusiasme<\/em> s&#8217;ent\u00e9n com un proc\u00e9s subjectiu d&#8217;exaltaci\u00f3 de l&#8217;\u00e0nim, en qu\u00e8 la passi\u00f3 i el fervor actuen com a detonant emocional d&#8217;all\u00f2 que -ja sigui discret o ambici\u00f3s, \u00edntim o p\u00fablic- es vol aconseguir. Mitjan\u00e7ant una an\u00e0lisi plural del concepte, el projecte revisa la col\u00b7lecci\u00f3 del MACBA amb l&#8217;objectiu d&#8217;escenificar i contrastar tot un seguit de comportaments i actituds sensibles a aquesta excitaci\u00f3. Una posici\u00f3 ferma i obstinada que s&#8217;allunya d&#8217;actituds ing\u00e8nues o simplement alegres i aposta per q\u00fcestions de confian\u00e7a, resist\u00e8ncia i furor a diferents nivells. L&#8217;exposici\u00f3 proposa un exercici d&#8217;activaci\u00f3 de les obres, en qu\u00e8 s&#8217;entrecreuen causes i desafiaments diversos, cosa que dona lloc a una selecci\u00f3 de reptes singulars que, situats dins de l&#8217;\u00e0mbit de l&#8217;art contemporani, transiten entre les obsessions individuals i els compromisos d&#8217;ordre est\u00e8tic, social o pol\u00edtic.<\/p>\n<p>Seguint aquestes premisses, \u00abENTUSIASME. El repte i l\u2019obstinaci\u00f3 en la Col\u00b7lecci\u00f3 MACBA\u00bb proposa cinc aproximacions possibles basades en l&#8217;acte entusiasta: la construcci\u00f3 cosmog\u00f2nica, la pot\u00e8ncia creativa de la vida quotidiana, la c\u00e0rrega performativa del cos, l\u2019activisme de caire social i la posada en crisi de la pr\u00f2pia noci\u00f3 d&#8217;art. D&#8217;aquesta manera, la voluntat d&#8217;artistes com Zush, Anne-Lise Coste o Youn\u00e8s Rahmoun per construir un m\u00f3n propi mitjan\u00e7ant viv\u00e8ncies, fantasies o creences; la repetici\u00f3 de gestos simples i quotidians d&#8217;Esther Ferrer, Ignasi Aball\u00ed, Dieter Roth, Richard Hamilton o Tere Recarens; la performativitat de Vito Acconci o \u00c0ngels Rib\u00e9; l&#8217;acci\u00f3 inconformista de Maja Bajevic, Emanuel Licha, Mireia Sallar\u00e8s, Cildo Meireles o Gordon Matta-Clark i, finalment, la cr\u00edtica al propi sistema de l&#8217;art de figures com Marcel Broodthaers o Peter Friedl suggereixen una seq\u00fc\u00e8ncia narrativa en qu\u00e8 l&#8217;entusiasme denota una posici\u00f3 ideol\u00f2gica forta enfront del fet art\u00edstic: aquella que, al cap i a la fi, concep l&#8217;art com un acte de fe capa\u00e7 d&#8217;assolir el que es proposa, ja sigui canviar el m\u00f3n o simplement q\u00fcestionar-se a si mateix.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abENTUSIASME\u00bb rep l&#8217;her\u00e8ncia conceptual de dos projectes centrats en aquest concepte i esdevinguts a Barcelona a mitjan de la d\u00e8cada del 2000. D&#8217;una banda, el projecte \u00abFe i entusiasme\u00bb (2004), de l&#8217;artista Antonio Ortega: una exposici\u00f3 processual centrada en la noci\u00f3 d&#8217;\u00e8xit i organitzada a l\u2019Espai 13 de la Fundaci\u00f3 Joan Mir\u00f3, que consistia en l\u2019intent de captar fons per construir una figura de cera de Yola Berrocal, m\u00e0xim exemple de l&#8217;entusiasme segons l&#8217;artista. Per l&#8217;altra, l&#8217;exposici\u00f3 \u00abEntusiasme\u00bb presentada a la Fundaci\u00f3 T\u00e0pies el 2005: un arxiu de pel\u00b7l\u00edcules vinculades al moviment polon\u00e8s de cinema amateur entre 1950 i 1980 recopilat pels artistes Neil Cummings i Marysia Lewandowska. Ambdues propostes incorporaven un impuls alliberador sorgit de la passi\u00f3. I aqu\u00ed, en el repte m\u00e9s visceral que racional, m\u00e9s apassionat que estrat\u00e8gic, \u00e9s on resideix la intensitat d&#8217;aquesta revisi\u00f3 de la col\u00b7lecci\u00f3 del MACBA. Malgrat marcar-se objectius ben diferents, i fer-ho mitjan\u00e7ant registres de presentaci\u00f3 dispars, tots els artistes de l&#8217;exposici\u00f3 comparteixen un mateix gest: dir amb contund\u00e8ncia.<\/p>\n<p>Seguint un efecte de contagi i complicitat, els tres conceptes que sustenten la mostra -entusiasme, repte i obstinaci\u00f3- s\u2019expandeixen tamb\u00e9 cap a tots els agents i estructures que intervenen en el projecte: la posici\u00f3 curatorial, la configuraci\u00f3 de la col\u00b7lecci\u00f3 del MACBA, la voluntat divulgativa del<br \/>\nPrograma d\u2019Arts Visuals de la Diputaci\u00f3 de Barcelona i, en el millor dels casos, la interrelaci\u00f3 amb les persones i els col\u00b7lectius que visitaran l\u2019exposici\u00f3.
