Godard fa set viatges a Montreal, on interv\u00e9 dos dies consecutius. Com a bon hereu d&#8217;Henri Langlois, respon a la invitaci\u00f3 subvertint el dispositiu del curs magistral a partir d\u2019un doble di\u00e0leg enfocat a pensar les genealogies i relacions entre les formes cinematogr\u00e0fiques: de la seva pr\u00f2pia filmografia amb obres escollides d\u2019altres cineastes el mat\u00ed, i d\u2019ell amb el p\u00fablic a les tardes. \u201cSeria una cosa aix\u00ed com el gui\u00f3 d\u2019una hipot\u00e8tica s\u00e8rie de films titulada Introducci\u00f3 a una veritable hist\u00f2ria del cinema i de la televisi\u00f3; veritable en el sentit que estaria feta amb imatges i sons en comptes de textos.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Acabat el cicle, Godard vetlla perqu\u00e8 les seves intervencions siguin editades en un llibre.
